CNC machining turneries use machines that are fast, repeatable and programmable, which can function while unattended, making it possible to manufacture parts quickly and efficiently. CNC stands for computer numerical control. Capabilities offered by automatic turneries include milling, turning, last machining.The milling machine is a very versatile machine capable of doing many machining operations. Turning is performed on a lathe. The lathe is used to perform several operations almost all of which involve the rotation of the piece art. Common services supplied: assembly services, design assistance, just-in-time delivery, prototype services, short run services, high quantity production. Assembly services include assembly of components. Design assistance includes assistance with concepts, manufacturing costs, manufacturing techniques and material considerations. Just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing is the capability of manufacturing components in order to reduce need for inventory maintenance. Prototype services include the capacity to build low quantity representative parts for use for presentations and functional testing. Machine shops are businesses where fixed or permanent machinery or equipment is used in the custom removal of material to fabricate a finished part. Short run services provide low volume production. High quantity production services provide high volume production.

Buffoli trans-bar transfer cnc machine  
   
Recently a new Buffoli Trans-bar CNC machine has been acquired. The CNC transfer machine has 10 axial units + 2 radial units; it reaches four times the productivity of a multi-spindle lathe. Complex brass parts can be machined up to 55 mm. diameter for ordinary-high/high quantities.
     
             
Trans-bar machine is CNC transfer machine fed by non-rotating bars, ideally suited for the machining of turned parts on both directions and/or transversally in one single chuckin. The machine offers higher productivity than a multi-spindle screw machine, and even allows the complete processing of those parts that cannot be finished on lathes by re-chucking; either to complete second end, or transversal machining operations. It is ideally suited for the complete machining of those complex brass parts, finished on the front, on the rear and transversally.
