CNC machining turneries use machines that are fast, repeatable and programmable, which can function while unattended, making it possible to manufacture parts quickly and efficiently. CNC stands for computer numerical control. Capabilities offered by automatic turneries include milling, turning, last machining.The milling machine is a very versatile machine capable of doing many machining operations. Turning is performed on a lathe. The lathe is used to perform several operations almost all of which involve the rotation of the piece art. Common services supplied: assembly services, design assistance, just-in-time delivery, prototype services, short run services, high quantity production. Assembly services include assembly of components. Design assistance includes assistance with concepts, manufacturing costs, manufacturing techniques and material considerations. Just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing is the capability of manufacturing components in order to reduce need for inventory maintenance. Prototype services include the capacity to build low quantity representative parts for use for presentations and functional testing.
